How does it work?
Simply choose your package, register, and once approved, dive into the Planet Positive Event web platform. Conduct a straightforward self-assessment of your event’s sustainability. An external assessor will then review and either confirm or seek additional details.
Once the assessment is finalized, your rating will be calculated. You’ll receive a detailed report and a certificate that align perfectly with ESRS standards as well as all other industry-relevant standards.

ESRS standards are a game-changer
In 2023, the European Commission accepted the first set of ESRS Standards for sustainable reporting. Thus, a new era dawned for corporate reporting, gradually еncompassing most EU companies in the future.
The number of companies obliged to write sustainability reports according to the Directive:
- Before 1 January 2024: 11,700 companies in the EU
- After 1 January 2024: 50,000 companies in the EU
- After 1 January 2025: All corporations based in the EU with over 250 employees, more than 40 million EUR income and over 20 million EUR capital
- After 1 January 2026: All EU companies trading in the stock market, including mid-sized and smaller companies.
Case Study: Conventa 2024

Planet Positive Event debuted during Conventa 2024 which took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 20-22 February 2024.
The organizers of Conventa did the self-assessment and provided all the necessary information which the external assessors then double-checked.
The results are presented in a long report which in conclusion gives the final sustainability mark of the event.
